Pres. Jonathan condemns Bauchi bomb attack and mass killings in Kaduna

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan condemns Friday night's bombing in theBayan Gari area of Bauchi State and the recent mass killings in Southern Kaduna.
The President commiserates with all the families who lost loved ones in the heinous attacks and extends his heartfelt sympathies to all those who suffered injuries or lost their properties during the wanton assaults on Bauchi and Kaduna States.
President Jonathan reassures the people of Bauchi and Kaduna State that the Federal Government will continue to take all necessary action to apprehend the perpetrators of thedastardly attacks and restore the fullest possible security to all parts of the country.
The President
directs all relevant federal government agencies to continue to speedily make
emergency medical and relief assistance available to all those who were either
injured or displaced by recent bombings and attacks.
He urges all
Nigerians to give maximum support and cooperation to the Armed Forces and
security agencies who continue to work incessantly to end the menace of
insecurity in the country within the shortest possible time.

Man Sees Jesus Holding Lamb In Skin Of His Apple, Says It's Sign From Lord
A Christian man claimed that he had found Jesus image in the skin of one of his apples, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The incident occurred when David Duran was making his traditional family apple jam. According to the man, he was always ready to peel one of the apples as he suddenly saw an image resembling Jesus Christ carrying a little lamb.
Duran was initially shocked with such a discovery but later he took the apple to a local priest, who blessed the fruit for him.
The image of Jesus and the lamb is plain as day to Duran, "There’s the hair. There’s like the face and then his robe around here and then right in the middle you can see like a figure of a lamb, see – like he’s holding a lamb."

28 year old Olympian and five-time U.S. national champion Alysia Montano ran an 800m race at the Hornet Stadium in
Sacramento, California, yesterday and people are now questioning if it's safe.
Alysia received a
standing ovation after completing the race in 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, 35 seconds slower than her personal best of 1:57.34,
which she smashed back in 2010 in a race in Monaco.

Chiellini Wants FIFA To Reduce Ban On Suarez
Italy's Giorgio Chiellini has come out and described the ban on Luis Suarez is "excessive."
Luis Suarez was banned by FIFA for biting Giorgio Chiellini during Italy's crucial but futile 0-1 lost to Uruguay.
The Azzurri defender had earlier described his anger that the reffree had not noticed the incident.
Luis Suarez was banned by FIFA yesterday for nine games and four month Suspension.
Chiellini however said that he has forgiven the Liverpool man, but the ban By FIFA was "excessive".
He said: “Now inside me there's no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done," he said in a statement on his official website. "There only remain the anger and the disappointment about the match.
"At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period.
"I always thought that official judgements are unquestionable, but on the other hand I believe that Suarez has been excessively punished.
"I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player."

Tricycle Operator Sells His New Born Baby For N500,000
The Police in Abia have arrested a tricycle operator, 27-year-old Ogbonna Chukwudi for allegedly selling his newborn son for N500,000.

Ogbonna Chukwudi, a resident of Cool Park Street, Ogbo Hill, Aba was said to have arranged with a nurse to sell the baby few hours after his wife put to birth in a private birth centre also in Ogbo Hill.
Meanwhile the Commissioner of Police in the state, Adamu Ibrahim who confirmed the incident said: “The incident took place on June 18, 2014. Luck, however, ran out on them when the wife woke up and sought to see her baby. She was told by the husband that the baby was dead and had been buried.”
The commissioner said trouble ensued when the wife insisted that the grave of her baby must be shown to her which made the man threatened to kill her.
A neighbour who overheard them was said to have alerted the policemen who intervenened and later arrested the man and the accomplice-nurse, one Amarachi Chiamaka.

According to the sources close to the twins, they have already recorded a track with the rapper and have shot a video to the track.
The singers are currently in Atlanta waiting for the creative process to start. Earlier they recorded and shot videos with such popular artistes as Akon, Rick Ross and many others.

producer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy,
revealed why he had left the venue of his late father’s lying-in-state,
without any warning.

No fewer than 6 people have lost their lives in a fatal car
accident which occurred this morning on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway,
between Berger and Kara.

According to report from Channels Tv, the accident was caused by a collision between a moving truck and a faulty truck, which was parked on the expressway.
Several other cars were damaged in the ghastly accident. One of the of the vehicles involved was a “mini-truck carrying labour hands to a building site, an eyewitness said.
A female survivor, who was pulled out from under a truck, was rushed to a hospital near 7up, and then to the Gbagada General hospital for further treatment.

I Was Strangled, Tied Up ─ Kidnapped Six-Year-Old Boy Recounts His Ordeal
Following the discovery of a kidnappers den
on Wednesday in Majidun area of Ikorodu, Lagos State after a
six-year-old boy, Emmanuel Emeka was rescued from a kidnapper, the boy
has recounted his experience.

Emmanuel Emeka, who said the suspect, identified as Mama Ifunaya was a neighbour, lured him into her room, strangled him, covered his mouth with clothes before tying him up with rope to prevent him from screaming.
He said: “I wanted to draw water and take my bath before going to school when she told me to come. I went because I know her; she is Mama Ifunnaya. But when I got to her side, she threw me inside her room… she closed her net. She then tied me and put me inside a box.
“I wanted to shout, but I could not shout properly. I heard my mummy’s voice when she was looking for me, but I could not shout. She (pointing to the suspect) is a wicked person.”

FIFA bans Luis Suarez for four months, fined $112,000
FIFA's disciplinary committee released a statement on their website stating this. See it below...
"The player Luis Suárez is regarded as having breached art. 48 par. 1 lit. d of the FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) (assault), and art. 57 of the FDC (an act of unsporting behaviour towards another player).
· The player Luis Suárez is to be suspended for nine (9) official matches. The first match of this suspension is to be served in the upcoming FIFA World Cup fixture between Colombia and Uruguay on 28 June. The remaining match suspensions shall be served in Uruguay’s next FIFA World Cup match(es), as long as the team qualifies, and/or in the representative team’s subsequent official matches in accordance with art. 38 par. 2a) of the FDC. Ekiti state election: APC says they are going to court
The APC has released a statement saying they are going to court to
challenge the process of the recently concluded governorship election in
Ekiti State, for what it termed the militarization of Ekiti during the
campaign and election period. APC says the election was neither free nor

Rising from its National Working Committee meeting, the
APC in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai
Mohammed, said some of their members were harassed by military men
