According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Joseph Kwaji, the investigation of the matter is still in process.
He said Samson, a student of Mathematics, allegedly died as a result of taking a substance.
A suicide note was reportedly found in the pocket of the deceased. The note allegedly provided that Friday, 32, took the poison to express his grievances over the alleged refusal by his sister to pay his school registration fees.
