'His Private Parts Were Missing' - Man Beheaded By His Friend & Dumped In The Forest


photo22-year-old Mohammed Farouk was killed by his friend, identified as Ijogbon who he had threatened to kill.

It was gathered that Farouk, a help-hand at a bakery factory in Okene had gotten into an argument with his friend during which he threatened to deal with him.

Ijogbon who is still at large didn't take the threat lightly and so arranged for farouk to be kidnapped and tortured after which he was beheaded and and his remains dumped in a shallow grave in a forest in the Okene area of Kogi.

According to the state Commissioner of Police, Seidu Madawaki, the police had been on the trail of the assailants since the deceased was abducted and crack detectives made a breakthrough in their investigation when one Saka and Wahab (surnames withheld) were arrested for their complicity in the abduction and subsequent murder of Farouk.

Saka and Wahab were the ones who led detectives to the thick forest where the deceased was tortured and later killed by the hoodlums.

Saka told journalist that they were recruited to abduct the deceased, adding that Ijogbon  shot him dead and had since fled the town.

It was learnt that Farouk was abducted at Lafia quarters in Okene on January 22 and his body was exhumed for autopsy yesterday.

The medical  director of Okene General Hospital, Dr. Abdusalam Abubakar who conducted the autopsy said that the preliminary report showed that Farouk was gruesomely murdered, adding that the head of the deceased was severed and the private parts and some other parts were removed.
