The Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, on Wednesday visited the scenes of the twin bomb explosions that happened on Tuesday in Jos, Plateau State.
While at the scene of the tragic incident, the police boss stated that the Federal Government was fully committed to ending terrorism in the country.
Vanguard online reports that Abubakar also visited some injured persons at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH, where he described the bomb attacks as “very cruel and saddening”.

Abubakar also commended security agencies in the state for their excellent handling of the incident immediately after it happened and encouraged them to sustain that attitude.
