It would be recalled that earlier meeting with the parents scheduled for last week Tuesday did not hold as they were said to have left for Borno State.
The Federal Government had accused the coordinator of #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili as the one who prevented the previous meeting to hold.

It was gathered that some of the schoolgirls who escaped from the terrorists in April would also be part of the rescheduled meeting billed for the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja.
Pakistani Girl-Child Education Campaigner, Malala Yousafzai, had urged President Jonathan to meet the parents when she met him last week Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

More than three months since the schoolgirls had been kidnapped in Borno State, North-eastern Nigeria, the notorious Boko Haram sect has said it would not release the girls unless in an exchange for some of its members in Nigerian prisons.

President Jonathan has stated that Nigeria would not negotiate with the insurgents over the abducted girls, promising he would do everything to ensure they are rescued from their captors.

Meanwhile, the United Nations had last month blacklisted the Boko Haram sect and its leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The Islamists terror group is said to have killed over 4,000 people in Nigeria since 2009.
