
The accused, who stays at Irede Community, is standing trial for a two-count charge of breach of peace and assault before Senior Magistrate, Adeyemi Amos.
Inspector Friday Inedu, the police prosecutor told the court that the defendant committed the offences on March 23 at the above address.
He further explained that the accused with others at large, assaulted Alede by beating him to a pulp, which caused him body harm.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 166 and 171 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Ajibade pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Amos, however, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum, and adjourned the case to April 28 for hearing.
