Emmanuel Okose, popularly known as Soul E, who in his recent Facebook post revealed that he 'saw' Nigerian singer Wizkid being poisoned and another singer Davido in a fatal accident, said he didn't ask God for ability to make prophecies.
Soul E previously has revealed several shocking prophecies about Boko Haram's jailbreak at SSS Headquarter and about death of two Northern Governors.
In a phone conversation the Delta-born singer turned prophet insists he had no bad intention with the prophesy.
"God showed me something and I needed to warn the people involved. I do not pray or wish for such things to happen. God showed me that and I revealed in good faith," Soul E said.
But a lot of Facebook users don't believe Soul E and bombard his Facebook page with not very pleasant messages.
In another Facebook post Soul E stated: "I have received so many phone calls about the prophecy the Lord gave to me concerning Wizkid, Davido and Aso Rock. Some have said that I am seeking for attention and so many funny talks about me been a Prophet of God."
"I want to say that as a prophet of God I will deliver any message I receive from God. Many people did not believe my Master Jesus Christ when He was on earth and they called Him different names, that’s why I am not surprised at people calling me names too but one thing I am sure of is that I don’t speak when the Lord has not asked me to speak and I don’t speak when the Lord has not showed me."
According to Prophet Soul E, it is normal for people to react the way they are reacting. He just did what God asked him to do. He's not wishing anybody anything bad. He denied any accusations about seeking attention and popularity.
When he was asked how he combines being a pastor and a musician, Soul E replied: "I am not a pastor. I am an instrument and vessel of God. I don’t have a church; my life is for the ministry. I have a ministry called Kingdom Builders Assembly. I am fortunate to be part of the people God wants to use to take His words to the next level. I am still going to do music. I will push out a lot of gospel songs and love songs."
"I am not a religious person, Christianity isn’t about religion, it is about living right, he added.
According to his profile on Facebook, Soul E was born to an evangelist and has been involved with the church since childhood. "I have been a prophet since I was born. There are so many things people don’t know about me," Soul E said.
During his days as a secular music artiste Soul E collaborated with Wizkid on a song called ‘Intoxicated’ but he has however insisted he is not friend with the singer. Asked if he called or informed Wizkid or Davido of what God has shown him concerning them.
"They are not my friends and I don’t talk to them. I am not saying they are my enemies. I had to go on Facebook to pass my messages because I know they will get to hear about it, they have been warned," he said.
Singers Davido and Wizkid didn't respond to Soul E's prophecies.
However, Soul E said that prophecies are just warnings and people just have to be careful.
